So, today G and I switched the kids bedrooms...Elise and Patrick are sleeping in the same room as we speak! "Sleeping" is the operative word - they were so excited they requested to go to bed at 7pm, it's now 8pm and Elise has gone to the bathroom 2x's (which never happens) and Patrick ran out saying "I awake, I awake!". Now we can hear them talking in there - at least not loud, nor running around in there.
As I write this, I look into the new baby's room and think - "HOLY CRAP" we really are going to have THREE KIDS!!!
Elise normally was "locked" in her room with a difficult door knob opener. BUT we had to have a potty chair in there in case she had to use the bathroom. Tonight is the first night that the door has been "unlocked". We have made HUGE THREATS about what will happen if she is in our room in the middle of the night or out of bed before her clock "turns green". My pessimistic side thinks there will be the door thing on there by tomorrow night...
They are both sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited and it was awesome watching their surprise when they came home from G'ma/B-Bob's (thank you guys!). :)
11 wks until my due date - this babe has been wanting to come sooner thou, stay put! At least until 36 or 37 wks :) Most likely, it'll be here a week late :) Healthy is all that matters!
Until, then I am off to bed in case it's a long night...More later...and pics too
The Palattao 4.75 !!!
Here's an attempt to keep track of the funny things our kiddos do and to post updated pics of our family (namely the kids - G and I don't change that much day to day!), so everyone can follow at their leisure.

Since SEPTEMBER??? It's because...
We love our kids...all THREE of them...4.5 yr old, 2.25 yr old, and 0.33 pre-year old. :)

YES, we are proudly expecting our third little Palattao!!! I'm 13 wks and am due July 9th, 2012. :) Patrick is going to be a BIG BROTHER and Elise a BIGGER SISTER!
Aaaaand...this pregnancy is kicking my butt! Thus, no updates since September - YIKES!
Each pregnancy has added another level of "morning sickness"...Elise = all day light nausea, Patrick = nausea + getting sick each morning, this babe = LOTS of all day nausea and worse after 2pm + multiple times of getting sick.
In addition to this, the fatigue has been the same, however coming home from work to, or being home with, Elise and Patrick adds another level of fatigue. Greg has been super helpful and understanding. We haven't really had a homemade meal but maybe once in 3 months, when I come home and need to go to bed before the kids, he doesn't blink an eye. I pretty much have been going to bed between 6:45 and 8:30. Tonight might be a record :) As you can tell, I am starting to feel better!
Poor Elise has been super concerned and loving - before we told them, she said "OK, Mom, I think you need to see Dr. Tio (our pediatrician) cuz you've been sick for lots and lots of days."
Before we told them, she kept asking me "why your tummy is getting bigger" - yes, I am ONLY a few months along, but the 3rd baby has started showing a bit sooner. One day, I was reading with the kids on the couch and Patrick pulled up my shirt from my belly and kissed my belly and said "Mama, der's a baby in nere...I kiss it". Really, Mr. Intuitive?
When we were going to tell them, I imagined a big deal. Not so much. We read them a book and said "we will have a baby born in the summer." Elise just looked at me. When I asked her what she thought that meant, she said "Oh Daddy decided to finally put a baby in your tummy." (The back story on that is that in Sept, Greg forgot his Gopher tickets and I called him before he was 5 min away. When he came back to get them, she handed them to him and said "OK, Dada you definitely owe Mommy another baby.") Patrick looked at my belly and touched my boobs and said "der's a baby in nere."
Multiple hours later she said, "Mom if we have a baby boy, Patrick will have to share his baby clothes with it. But if it's a girl, we'll get to shop for new girl clothes." When I told her we'd share HER clothes, she said "Oh no Mom, it's so much more fun to buy cute little girl clothes, OK?"
On that note, I promise lots more updates from 2012...what we've been up to, kid-isms, Christmas, etc. For, now it's 8:32 and I'm off to bed and then getting up 5 times in the first 2 hrs of going to bed. :)

Preschool - can it be?!?!?!
Our little peanut started preschool!!! We cannot believe how time has flown by. She is soooooo proud! As are we :)
PS She decided that her shirt needed to be tucked in, not us, just a preview of Elise Faith in school for the next 18+ years (Good luck to her future boyfriends too! )

It's been a bit of an "afterschool adjustment" for her - kinda like having a stressful day at work (not that school is stressful or not fun for her, just a change) and taking it out on your spouse who you love most! She is getting 3 wks, then I will kick her out of the house :)

CAMPING!!!
We finally DID IT!!!! Our first family camping trip and it was soooo enjoyable :) The kids were so good and the first morning Elise woke up saying "I LOOOOOVE Camping!". It was so nice to be just the 4 of us (plus the playground behind our site...next time a bit more remote, but great distraction for the first time camping parents).
Greg and I weren't as prepared as we originally thought, but the fact that we were close to home/city it worked great.

Pretending their glow sticks were "mustaches".

One of my many favorites of the weekend was that I got to hold our kids when they fell asleep at night and for Patrick's naps. WONDERFUL!

Come to find out Elise thought "S'Mores" were only camp fire cooked marshmallows - it was like Christmas when we told her what the real things were!

Heaven
So, at Patrick/Greg/Harold/Gus' birthday Patrick got a shirt from Auntie Doty and Uncle Abe of the Philippines and islands on it and Greg got one with all the cities/provinces on it. Elise asked what it was and Greg told her "that's were Grandpa lived and was born". She looked at him seriously and asked, "Dad, is that heaven?"
Here's to the awesome kids that Grandma Grandma (Kathy) and Grandpa (Gus) created...

Patrick's 2nd revisited
Here's his cake - what he calls his "caaarr racer". It was a hit and actually alot of fun to make. Maybe I am getting a bit better at this cake making thing - don't get me wrong, I am still a novice with little intent on becoming "professional". Every year I get stressed out about it and frustrated, but when I look back on it I hope the kids will have some memory of the cake their Mom made and Dad tolerated Mom making. :)

So for 2 yr old stats...I was certain our man was in the 50th for most. However he surprised us in being in the 35th% for height and weight overall. YIKES! So, I had a bit of a moment a few days later because based on the "you double your kids 2 yr old height for final height" our Patrick will be 5'7" ish~! Not the 5'10" I was thinking he'd be. There's still a chance :) But if he isn't I hope he has his Dad's outlook on height...it doesn't matter!
