Where's Waldo?

Elise decided today to "corner" her brother while I was getting breakfast - Can you find him?

Every piece of "equipment" she brought in she did saying "you can't escape NOW Patwick Wobewrt"! At first he was entertained until he couldn't get past the exercauser, then came the discontented screams (see pictures in recent post 'Sibling Rivalry' for an idea of what his face looked like). Ahhhhh, the LOVE of a sister :)

Dinner time at the Palattao's

We've been making a point to have some family dinners lately, obviously WE are entertained by them. :)

Buuuuuutttt, he had to share it with a surprise guest - we're realizing the way to get Elise to eat meat is to put it all on G's plate, then it seems interesting. Funny, she hasn't asked me yet why I don't eat it.

Sibling rivalry

Enjoy the play by play pics of the sibling love and laughter...the older sibling taking the hat and being proud...the younger sibling's response...and with a "1, 2, 3" count from Mom return of the hat. Patrick's face on the last one is my favorite - "MINE"!

Busy boy

Patrick just started cruising on furniture today, he's been pulling to stand for a week and a half and is SO proud, if you aren't there, he'll shriek so you come and see him!
He finally popped ONE tooth, the other is coming soon. He also started dancing too and when you hold him in standing, he stomps ONLY his left foot, so cute!



One of Patrick's favorite places to play lately :) Chances are if you can't immediately spot him he's here or in the bathroom playing the toilet.

Who says you need to PLAN a trip?

So, on Fri late afternoon before Memorial Weekend, we decided to take a last minute - get out of here and spend some quality time - trip to Duluth. Greatest decision ever, we had a wonderful time, just the 4 of us!

Daddy's little girl

Elise has been all about Daddy lately - super endearing! Greg of course is loving it, they are so darned cute together - two peas in a pod. The only woman who I'll let my husband share his heart with :)

Gardening Fun!

We have an 8 x 16 foot garden in our backyard - Elise is in heaven. Prior to this she got her "gardening gear" from Auntie Bean and family for her birthday and was LOVING to pull worms out of the ground and stack them on top of each other.
Here we are planting our vegetables - one of the things she was adamant on was planting pickles :) She is learning the art of patience as they grow - too slow for her :)
It's AWESOME to watch her excitement - it's our little project :)

Bonk you off - Elise-isms

Elise likes to run and give G hugs and refers to it as "Daddy, I want to bonk you off". Every time she says that I kinda cringe, not sure if I'm a fan of the way that sounds :)
Her other thing right now with Toy Story is that she says "there's Buzz Light" - not LightYear, it's too cute to correct. Along with haircuts are "cutHair" and music is "muba" STILL, more "morn", thank you "wank you".
