Solberg fam TWINS game

A rabbit in the garden

Yup...an "Elise rabbit"...most of the "crop" is eaten before exiting the garden. She's the cutest rabbit I've ever seen :)

11 months and Buuuuuusssy!

I LOVE this one

"Micro-Man" and B-Bob = Priceless (PS Note their matching hairlines!)

Happy 4th of July!

We started out our long weekend with a visit to Richfield fair, where we all rode the carousel - check out how Patrick chose to ride!!! His OWN style!

Then on the actual fourth, we enjoyed the day at Auntie Doty and Uncle Abe's. Elise was so excited to fish - she caught 3 sunnies and was so proud. She was a little more leary than last year when it came time to hold it, however proudly carried the leeches in the car and onto the boat and was playing with them in the boat.

This was one of a few moments where he was smiling in this life jacket. Otherwise was screaming cuz it was choking him or laying on the ground like a turtle crying. He started standing up without holding on in the middle of the floor SUPER proud...walking soon?

A family dip in the lake :)

Bugs and I drying off...

Thursday, July 1, 2010

Yes, it's Thursday AND another comparison :)

The kids went to bed - well P-man for the 2nd time after he got his arm stuck in the crib during time #1, thus Elise for the kinda 2nd time - G's at Boy's Night = Angie updates the blog :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture of Patrick on the talking chair toy and "maked" Elise on her 1st b-day on the chair she got for her birthday. He's such a doll face and such a happy little man (yes, I am partial!) And I CANNOT believe the little girl who I talked to like an adult in conversation in the car today was at one point, 2 yrs ago, that little. I'm realizing more and more how much they resemble each other (the smile and eyes) and so darn sad that SOON Patrick will be one like Elise in that pic. YIKES! Yea, most likely there will (God willing) be a 3rd Palattao, this Mama isn't done yet! (Wait, some days and some moments I am done). But on Blog Thursday, NOPE!

What's the deal with the dishwasher?

Apparently no matter what, climbing onto the dishwasher is FUN FUN FUN! (Elise 8 months - drowning in her 9 mo clothes, Patrick yesterday at 10.5 months - filling in his 18 mo clothes).

SUPER CHILDREN - HIVE-BOY and HAIR-GIRL

OK, so on a Sat Patrick started with hives, which ended on Wed morning - these pics are from the Tues night before. He looks super bothered hey?! :) Then again Fri to Tuesday. Saw our wonderful pediatrician during the first bout, who said "sometimes this just happens with kids" after wracking our brains at WHAT caused it. Saw great-grandma (Gram) who raised 10 kids and countless grandkids (myself included) and around plenty of greats (E and P included) who said calmly "oh some kids get hives when teething". Well, guess what? Tooth #1 popped during first hive-bout and tooth #2 popped during second hive bout. Hmmmmm? = SMART Gram :)

Annnnnnndddddd...Hair girl in the tub, it's getting so long. Never seen such a soap do!

10 months...and in 2 wks 11 months!

See below at what our little 10 month old man would prefer than sitting still...Gone are the days of a boy "sitting" in the recliner. He's so busy - climbing, cruising furniture, throwing balls (which he's pretty darn good at with his right hand) and popping 2 teeth. SO DANG much fun!!!
