What we've been up to...

Haven't had much "exciting news" to update, so here's some day to day updates to entertain you - whomever "you" are :)

Having a "girl's day" and shopping till we dropped :) There was not an ounce of sun in the sky that day, but she insisted! Greg and Patrick shopped at Home Depot that day to shop for less fun stuff like hinges for our bathroom mirror.

Sunday lazy day "horse back riding".

Practicing our climbing skills, I just had to capture the moment. Look at the shocked look on his face that he was caught :)

Lastly, our past week of illness...

Elise with her "slapped cheek disease" called Fifth Disease - I diagnosed her (for FREE).

Elise went to work with Greg yesterday, as she had a low grade temp, and a little before daycare pick up, Greg got a call to pick up poor Patrick. His temp when we got home was 103* They both sat in their bean bag chairs for at least an hour - and didn't even run to the door when I got home - very unlike them! We had a cuddly evening.

Then, this morning...similar to last night, but I changed their P.J.'s to a new pair.
Poor kiddo's! Needless to say, after a day being confined to the house, when we are usually on the go on "Mommy stay home days", I am looking forward to Greg coming home - I offered to shovel that at least 4" of snow outside! YES, it SNOWED AGAIN, just when we could see grass. At least we had a couple of days where we could smell spring. It can't snow ALL spring and summer, can it?

We are grateful for our typically healthy kids!

It's official, I have true MOM thoughts...

...so for years I'd hear mothers say this or that and think, Gosh I doubt I think that stuff, it's kinda ridiculous actually.
WELL...
Today I had 2 thoughts that officially put me in the MOM status - and I am proud of it!
#1. Will I ever go to the bathroom by myself again without kids touching me, asking me if I am peeing or pooping, wanting to see it and fighting over who hands me the T.P.? AND when they aren't will I miss it?
#2. I was watching the "Wiggles" video with the kids (one that makes me feel less guilty because they actually dance and move around) and thought a couple of the guys were nice eye candy.
My official welcome :)
