A super fun Sunday

We started the day out EARLY doing our first 5K, Goldy's Run. The kids were very good and seemed to enjoy themselves. G and I survived and ran in 34 min, not too bad! We are planning on at least 2 more this summer. Then we headed to the zoo to see the "farm babies" exhibit. We got a Zoo Pass, so it's fun to even go for an hour or two. After that we had a family lunch at Applebees and were home by noon! It was an AWESOME FAMILY DAY!!!



The kids were parched from their run :) I just thought it was too cute that Elise was feeding Patrick water!





Needless to say there weren't many baby animals to see (some piglets and a few calves) - refer to comment above about it being easier to handle 1-2 hr trips to the zoo with a Zoo Pass :)
